You Could Be $100K Richer And Not Know It, But Time's Running Out To Claim It Like a fairy tale in reverse, a winning lottery ticket will soon turn back into a worthless piece if its owner doesn't hand it over before the end of the month. The Massachusetts State Lottery announced that a Mass Cash ticket purchased at Joe’s Kwik Mart, 287 Prospect St. in Cambridge, on Sept. 30, 2022, will expire on Sept. 29. The winner numbers are 07-11-16-27-29. Whoever has the ticket must turn it in at one of the Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester before the expiration date.

(Update) Gunman On Loose: Police Urge Lynn Residents To Shelter In Place A man accused of a shooting in Lynn just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, is on the loose, and police are asking residents to stay indoors until he is caught. Related: Police Arrest Man Wanted In Shooting Near Lynn Vocational Tech The shooting happened in the area of Commercial and Neptune Streets near Lynn Vocational Technical Institute. The gunman ran away before Lynn police could arrest him. Investigators ask anyone who sees the man, knows who he is, or sees anything suspicious to call 911 immediately.

Man Stabbed On Street In Western Mass Dies In Hospital: Police Police in Berkshire County said a man was stabbed on a Pittsfield street Tuesday night, Sept. 12, in what investigators believe was a targeted attack, officials said. Man Charged With Central Mass Murder From 2013: DA A 42-year-old Fitchburg man has been charged in the shooting death of Shaun Hibbard in 2013. John Yang was arraigned on a murder charge on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and he is being held without bail, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. He'll return to court on Oct. 18. Woman, 62, Killed In Fire ID'd; Investigators Say Central Mass Blaze Started In Kitchen Fire investigators say the three-alarm fire that killed a 62-year-old woman in Worcester County on Thursday, Sept. 7, started on the kitchen stove, authorities said.
