Home Ends Peacefully: Police A police negotiator was able to talk a man who had barricaded himself inside a Middlesex County apartment Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, out of the home without bloodshed, authorities said. Officers were called to 7 Elm Court in Maynard just before 12:30 p.m. because a man was destroying things with a hatchet, Maynard police said. Shaq's Big Chicken Restaurant To Open Location At Peabody Mall Shaquille O'Neal's fast-food chicken chain — aptly named Big Chicken — has signed a lease agreement for a space at Peabody's Northshore Mall, the mall's management company said.
