ID Released Of 2 Killed In Multiple Springfield Shootings Springfield police have now released the names of three of the four people killed last week in different shootings across the city. Officials IDed the two men gunned down on Saturday, Aug. 12, on Wednesday. Abdikadir Hussein Abdi Hussein, 31, of Springfield, was found shot in the passenger seat of a wrecked vehicle on Boston Road near Parker Street just after 2:30 a.m., police said. Man Killed After SUV Crosses Into Oncoming Traffic In Western Mass A 57-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision in Hampshire County on Tuesday, Aug. 15, authorities announced. Edward Duggan, of Haydenville, died just after 2 p.m. following the crash near 202 Main St. in Haydenville, police said. Initial investigations suggest Duggan drifted over the center line and into the path of a pick-up. The truck driver, a man from Worthington, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Woman Admits To Killing Owner Of Eastern Mass Greenhouse, Leading To Its Closure: DA A 71-year-old woman pleaded guilty Tuesday, Aug. 15, to driving into and killing one of the family members who owned the Byfield Greenhouse and Garden Center last year, authorities said.
