At least, that's what a convicted kidnapper wanted for a parole violation in Berkshire County found out this week.  Arthur Jones III was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 6, following a routine traffic stop in Hinsdale, Hinsdale police said.  The officer pulled Jones over for speeding just after 4 p.m. and realized he had an active warrant for his arrest, authorities said. Kayaker Finds Body On Riverbank Near Western Mass Bridge: Firefighters Holyoke firefighters and police were called to Muller Bridge Sunday morning after a kayaker body on the bank of a river.  Crews responded just before noon to Long Pond Road after receiving reports of the corpse washed up on the bank, the Holyoke Fire Department said. Police closed a section of the road for several hours as they investigated and cleared the scene.  Police are investigating the cause of death. Detectives have not released the identification of the body or any information on how they could have ended up in the water.

Man Stabbed At Chicopee Gas Station Dies At Hospital: Police A man stabbed at a Chicopee gas station Sunday afternoon, Aug. 6, has died, Chicopee police said.  The attack happened at the Shell station at 95 West St. around 3 p.m., police said. Paramedics rushed the man to a nearby hospital, where he died of his wounds. Investigators did not release the man's name.  Chicopee police detectives closed the gas station for several hours Sunday night while they investigated the scene.  Detectives ask anyone with information to contact police at 413-592-6341.

Now, police are asking for the public's help to find who pulled the trigger.  Officers responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Hancock and Union Streets around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6. Police found a man bleeding out from a bullet wound on Hancock Street.
