(Update) Woman Killed Boyfriend At Marlborough Home With His Young Son Inside: Police A 37-year-old woman accused of killing her boyfriend during an argument at their home in Middlesex County on Wednesday, Aug. 2, is being held without bail, authorities said. Darlene Carreras, of Marlborough, is charged with manslaughter in the stabbing death of 45-year-old Eric Murray inside the Stone Gate Apartments on Saint Ives Way, the Middlesex District Attorney said. Worcester Bar Closes Its Doors But Promises To Return Bigger, Better Jack's Tiki Tavern, which was forced to move earlier this year, has closed its doors in Worcester for good, owners announced on Facebook. The bar at 3 Mill St. posted to social media on Aug. 2 that the "time has come" to shutter, but they promised to return with a new location in another city with expanded offerings. Bean announced that it plans to expand its offerings in Massachusetts with two new stores. Man Hospitalized With Serious Wounds In Waltham Stabbing; Cops Bust Suspect A 33-year-old man faces multiple charges after police say he stabbed someone Sunday morning, Aug. 6, in Middlesex County. Beloved Western Mass Restaurant Owner Killed In Florida Crash: Family Richard Daviau, the co-owner of a popular steakhouse in Hampden County, died on Friday, Aug. 4, in a motorcycle crash in Florida, his family announced. Richard Daviau owned Prim3 St3akhous3 in Southwick with his brother and sister. The threes in the name refer to the three siblings — Debbie, Todd, and Richard Daviau. Woman Killed, Man Seriously Injured In Early-Morning Eastern Mass Crash A 60-year-old woman was killed early Saturday morning, Aug. 5, in a Norfolk County wreck that also seriously injured her passenger, authorities said. The woman was behind the wheel of a 2015 Lexus SUV that collided with a 2020 Jeep SUV in Weymouth on Route 3 near Exit 38 just after 5 a.m., state police said. Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend To Death In Western Mass Charged With Murder A 23-year-old Hampshire County woman who police say stabbed her boyfriend five times during a fight at their home will return to court next week. Grill Fire Guts Home In Western Mass, Injures 2, Leave 6 Homeless Fire investigators say a two-alarm Hampden County blaze on Thursday, Aug. 3, started on a grill on a home's back porch.
