BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- The remnants of Hurricane Patricia are expected to continue northward early this week, bringing downpours and some flooding to parts of the South, Midwest and Northeast, according to accuweather.com.The soaking rains, expected to strike late Tuesday into Wednesday, are likely to impact much of the tri-state area, including Bergen County, portions of New York's lower Hudson Valley and parts of Connecticut, according to the report.

Eva Ferraro, 87, Of Harrison
HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison resident Eva Ferraro died Wednesday. She was 87.Born in Malvito, Cosenza, Italy, Ferraro was a devoted family woman who worked for many years at the Sealectro Corporation in Mamaroneck.
Ferraro was predeceased by her husband, Francesco Ferraro, her parents, Vincenzo and Maria Laise, her daughter, Aquilina LeDonne, and brothers Francesco and Salvatore Laise.
She is survived by her children, Joe, Vincent, Armando and Michael Ferraro, Lisa Marinaccio and Anna Caldarola, several brothers and sisters, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
