4 Arrested On Crack, Heroin Charges In Drug Bust In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. -- Officers seized "substantial" amounts of crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana Wednesday and arrested four people after raiding a suspected drug den in Danbury, police said.A fifth person was also arrested after police found a 3-year-old child inside the apartment, police said.
Allison Hallock, 20, and Daeshaun Boyd, 26, both of Danbury, and Laquen Glasgow, 21, and Matthew Morris, 26, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., were arrested after investigators executed a warrant at Apartment 197 at the Brookside Condominium complex, 7 Padanaram Road.

Stamford Theater Actor Arrested After Incident At Bridgeport Starbucks
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 35-year-old actor is accused of attacking a Starbucks employee for taking too long to prepare his order, according to ctpost.com.
Alexander Cobb, of Ursula Place, Stamford, was charged Tuesday with breach of peace and interfering with police, the report said.
According to ctpost.com, Cobb, who has appeared in a number of local theater productions, followed the female employee behind the counter, shouted at her and shoved her by the face.

Foster Closes Campaign Finance Gap As Election Day Nears
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – As Election Day approaches, Mary-Jane Foster, an independent candidate for Bridgeport mayor, has garnered about half the financial support of her most serious competitor, Democrat Joe Ganim, according to CTPost.com.
Citing the most recent campaign-financing filings, the Post says that Foster has raised more than $232,000 since beginning her independent campaign late last month.
