Caring For Ringwood Day Enters 31st Year RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Ringwood is looking for volunteers to help with its annual Caring Day on Saturday, April 30.The day begins with a light breakfast at the Municipal Park and Ride lot at 9 a.m. Volunteers will receive clean up assignments.  A paper shredding service will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Park and Ride.  Volunteer registration is encouraged. Lyndhurst Prepares For Hayden's Heart 5K Run LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The fourth annual Hayden's Heart 5k run will be held on Saturday, March 19. Registration opens on race day at 9 a.m. with the run stepping off at 11 a.m. in Riverside County Park. Entry fee is $35 with proceeds going to benefit the Hayden's Heart Foundation to help fund congenital heart defect research.  The first 500 registered will receive a t-shirt.  The first 100 finishers will get a medal. Paramus Elementary School Organizes Oral Hygiene Program PARAMUS, N.J. -- Future dental hygienists from Bergen Community College visited Parkway Elementary School in Paramus to discuss and demonstrate proper oral hygiene recently. Parkway students learned to use the proper tools, including a toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, and dental floss, to clean their teeth and tongue.
