Rutherford's Washington School Organizes 'Discovery Day' RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Washington Elementary School in Rutherford will participate in a Discovery Day on Thursday, March 24.  This year's theme will be "Healthy Body, Healthy Minds." Students will attend two assemblies, one focusing on hygiene, exercise and safety. The second assembly will be a concert that emphasizes nutrition and proper exercise.  Students will also rotate through learning stations that will educate them on leading a healthier lifestyle.  Washington Elementary is located at 89 Wood St.
