Rutherford Organizes Blood Screening Program For Residents RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Rutherford Health Department will sponsor a Multi-Phasic Blood Screening Program for Rutherford residents, 18 years of age or older, to be held at the Health Center on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Public Health Nurses at 201-460-3020 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The main objective of the program is to detect any abnormalities in the blood. West Milford Wrestler Sets Records WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- West Milford wrestler Christian Dalcais now holds two prominent school records.Dalcais' 120-career wins is the most all time. He also set the record for most wins in a single season. Dalcais was a semi-finalist in the state tournament. He was also named First Team All-Passaic County and First-Team All Big North Independence Conference.

Ridgewood Steak Fundraiser Benefits Deca Trip RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood High School will host a steak fundraiser through March 26 to help send marketing students to the International Career Development Conference.Every year between 35-45 students attend the conference to compete against other students for five nights and six days. Cost of attending the conference is approximately $1,200 and students must pay their own way. Several different packages of Omaha Steaks are available for purchase. Happy Birthday To Edgewater's Barbara Corcoran EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Happy birthday to Edgewater native Barbara Corcoran!Corcoran, who is best-known as an investor on ABC's Shark Tank, turns 67 on March 10. Corcoran founded the Corcoran Group, a real estate company, in 1973 with a $1,000 loan from her boyfriend. She sold the company to NRT Incorporated for $66 million in 2001. Corcoran currently resides in Manhattan with her second husband, Bill and their two children.

Lodi Students Dress To Impress For Elmwood Park Non-Profit LODI, N.J. -- Lodi Immaculate Conception High School held a dress-down day on Wednesday for the Rare is Beautiful foundation based in Elmwood Park. Lodi students donated $2 each to dress in casual wear rather than their usual uniforms, with proceeds donated to the non-profit.
