Rutherford Organizes Blood Screening Program For Residents RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Rutherford Health Department will sponsor a Multi-Phasic Blood Screening Program for Rutherford residents, 18 years of age or older, to be held at the Health Center on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Public Health Nurses at 201-460-3020 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The main objective of the program is to detect any abnormalities in the blood. Ridgewood Steak Fundraiser Benefits Deca Trip RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood High School will host a steak fundraiser through March 26 to help send marketing students to the International Career Development Conference.Every year between 35-45 students attend the conference to compete against other students for five nights and six days. Cost of attending the conference is approximately $1,200 and students must pay their own way.  Several different packages of Omaha Steaks are available for purchase.
