Clifton School Wins $8,000 From Follett Challenge CLIFTON, N.J. -- Clifton's Elementary School 11 was awarded $8,000 after being named a People's Choice winner of the Follet Challenge.School officials submitted a video showing how educators at School 11 use technology to bring learning to life for students.  The video starts with an old-time feel and switches to color as it shows students using Google Chromebooks and the various ways they help them learn. School 11's video was a top 10 vote-getter, earning it the $8,000 prize. The money will go to support the media center.

Dumont Council Approves Residential Development On D'Angelo Farms DUMONT, N.J. -- Members of the Dumont Borough Council voted 5-1 to approve the development of apartments on the D'Angelo Farms and Borough Hall properties, according to NorthJersey.com. Several residents attended the meeting in voiced their opposition to the development of 142 new apartments on the land.
