East Rutherford BOE Honors Teacher Judy Ackermann EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Former East Rutherford Teacher Judy Ackermann was honored at the inaugural Roll of Honors Award ceremony at a recent Board of Education meeting.Ackermann, a teacher at both Faust and McKenzie Schools during her 15 years in East Rutherford until her passing, was awarded the recognition by interim Superintendent Joseph Abate. Bruce Ackermann, Judy’s husband, accepted the commemorative plaque, another of which hangs in the lobby of Faust School.  Gina Pappas, a teacher at Faust School, honored Ackermann at the ceremony.
