Armonk Will See Warmest Day Of Year Spring will be in the air as the warmest temperatures of the year move into the area, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday's high temperature will be 70 degrees or even higher in some parts of the region. Temperatures will remain in the high 60s on Thursday with a chance of showers in the afternoon.  Friday and Saturday will be sunny with slightly cooler temperatures with highs in the mid 50s.  Showers could return to end the weekend on Sunday.

Hillsdale Police Hold Self Defense Classes At High School HILLSDALE, N.J. -- The Hillsdale Police Department conducted a series of educational classes and hands on training in self defense at the Pascack Valley Regional High School recently. The classes consisted of situational awareness, basic self defense, and sexual assault prevention.  The classes are meant to help male and female seniors prepare for living away from home and at college.

Ringwood Plans Pet Adoption, Vendor Show RINGWOOD, N.J. -- The Skyline Lake Fire Department will host its 11th annual craft show and pet adoption event on May 14 at the fire house in Ringwood. Craft and retail vendors will be on hand along side various pet adoption agencies.  More than 60 venders participated last year. Leonia High School Crowns 'Mr. Senior' LENONIA, N.J. -- Leonia High School crowned Mr. Senior 2016 in front of a capacity crowd on Thursday, March 3. Senior v had the right mix of entertaining and comedic skills to take home the top prize. The fundraiser managed to raise $1,450 to benefit efforts to host pre-prom festivities where students from Leonia and Edgewater meet for a red carpet event prior to the big night.  Leonia's senior prom will be held on June 3.
