Lyndhurst Police Officer Honored For Helping Passengers LYNDHURST, N.J. -- A Lyndhurst officer who helped rescue victims in the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia last year will be honored with the Officer of the Month Award for 2016 from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, according to NorthJersey.com.  Michael Keane was riding in the last car of the train when it derailed. Wayne PAL Team Dreams Of Hall Of Fame WAYNE, N.J. -- The Wayne PAL 12- year-old travel baseball team is looking for donations to help get them to Cooperstown, N.Y. The team is participating in the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament from July 29 through Aug. 4., but the cost to send the team is close to $20,000 between van rental, tournament fees, meals and other expenses.  In an effort to help defray costs, the team has set up a gofundme page. The team is asking for donations of any size to help pay for the trip.  The tournament will feature 104 teams that come from all over the country.
