Amenia Man Charged With DWI In Route 22 Stop AMENIA, N.Y. -- An Amenia man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Route 22 on Sunday, Jan. 24, according to New York State Police. Marshall Lovell, 24, was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Troopers suspected Lovell of being intoxicated, police said.  Lovell provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in Amenia Court on Tuesday, Feb. 2, police said.

Six Lyndhurst School District Students Chosen For Regional Music Groups LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Several members of the Lyndhurst School District’s Fine and Performing Arts Department were invited to participate in prestigious musical groups during the 2015 – 2016 school year.Betsaida Oliveira (trumpet) and Dennis Alarcon (flute) were asked to perform in the Bergen County Band.Andrew Mayewski (trumpet) and Oliveira were invited to join the Northern NewJersey Region I Symphonic Band. Alacron (piccolo) was also asked to join the Northern New Jersey Region I Wind Ensemble as well as the Orchestra.
