Stop & Shop Launches Express Delivery Stop & Shop has launched a new online express delivery service in a partnership with Instacart. Stop & Shop Express is available through the company's hundreds of supermarkets, according to a report from Supermarket News. The site reported that the goal of the service is to provide a quick turnaround for those just shopping for a few items.  The deliveries can arrive as quickly as 30 minutes after placing an order. The service is available every day from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., Supermarket News said.  There is a $10 minimum and a delivery fee of $2.99.

Authorities Ask For Info After Man Accused Of Robbing Suffolk County Gas Station Authorities are asking the public for help locating a man accused of robbing a gas station on Long Island. A man entered Sunoco in North Amityville at about 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, and threatened a clerk with a beer bottle that he had broken, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Authorities Searching For ATV Rider Wanted In Suffolk County Hit-Run Crash Authorities on Long Island are asking the public for help as they investigate a hit-and-run crash involving an ATV and a parked SUV. At about 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 23, a male was riding a black and yellow ATV on Whitetail Lane in Commack, when he struck a parked, unoccupied 2013 Jeep Wrangler, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Woman Claims $10 Million NY Lottery Prize A New York woman has claimed a $10 million lottery prize. Yekaterina Plyas, of Brooklyn, won the New York Lottery's $10,000,000 Black Titanium scratch-off ticket, the NY Lottery reported on Tuesday, Oct. 10. She received her prize as a lump-sum payment of $6,122,400 after required withholdings. Ali Zaman, an employee at J Mart & Smoke Shop in Patchogue, was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
