Duo Indicted In Fatal July 4th Shooting At Nassau County Block Party Two men are facing felony charges in a shooting during a block party on Long Island that left a man dead and injured two others. Dog Rescued After House Fire Breaks Out On Long Island Authorities rescued a dog from a house fire on Long Island. Officers responded to a report of a fire at a home on Prospect Avenue in East Meadow at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Police said while searching for any occupants of the building, NCPD officers and an East Meadow firefighter found an unconscious dog trapped inside of the home. Police Searching For Suspect Accused Of Attacking Woman In Suffolk County Police are asking the public for help locating and identifying a woman accused of attacking another woman on Long Island. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said the incident happened in Patchogue at about 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. The suspect punched, bit and pulled another woman's hair on West Main Street at the corner of South Ocean Avenue, authorities said. Two Seriously Injured In Crash On LI Expressway, Driver Changed With DWI, Police Say A 23-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated after authorities said he struck an SUV on the Long Island Expressway, seriously injuring two people.
