Woman Charged With Stealing Merchandise At Southeast Home Depot
SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy has arrested a 38-year-old Bronx resident on a larceny charge. A deputy responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody at the Home Depot at 80 Independent Way in the Town of Southeast on Wednesday, March 9, at 11:05 a.m., police report. The asset protection manager had observed a woman, identified as Suzanna M. Love, conceal merchandise and then leave the store without paying for it, according to officials. Woman Charged In Shoplifting Incident At Hannaford Supermarket In Carmel
CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy has arrested a 45-year-old resident of the Town of Southeast on a larceny charge. A deputy responded to a report of a shoplifter who had been taken into custody by the loss prevention officer at the Hannaford Supermarket at 1936 Route 6 in Carmel on Sunday, March 6, at 11:55 a.m., police report. The loss prevention officer had observed the suspect, identified as Katarzyna A. Pawlus-Szewczyk, conceal items of merchandise and exit the store without paying for them, according to officials. MONROE, Conn. -- The Friends of the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library have announced the dates of their annual spring book sale. The event will be held from Thursday, March 31, through Saturday, April 2, at the library, 733 Monroe Turnpike. RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police arrested a man on a drug charge, following a two-car accident. Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on North Airmont Road at the intersection of the New York State Thruway yesterday at approximately 10:15 p.m., officials report. Responding officers found a two-car accident; while investigating, they observed the driver of one of the vehicles to be impaired, according to officials. FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has announced his selection of a new leadership team to operate the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Michael R. Sussex Bank Donates $1,000 To Oradell Volunteer Fire Department
ORADELL, N.J. -- The Sussex Bank in Roackaway recently donated $1,000 toward the Oradell Fire Department’s new health and wellness initiative. The Department recently formed a committee dedicated to promoting physical fitness throughout its ranks, in an effort to reduce cardiac related ailments both on and off the fireground. The bank’s donation will be utilized to purchase new fitness equipment for the firehouse.
