Norwalk's Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum Starts 50th Year With New Show NORWALK, Conn. -- In collaboration with the Silvermine School of Art, the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is kicking off its 50th Anniversary with a new exhibition by artist and photography instructor Bruce Dunbar. The exhibition, “Endangered & Re-envisioned: Iconic Landmarks and Interiors,” will open to the public on Thursday, April 7, from noon to 4 p.m. at the museum, 295 West Ave. A fundraising reception will follow from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the reception are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Moore, who started working for the borough doing clerical work as a high school intern, stayed on through college and took a full time position as an administrative assistant after graduating in 2011. Man Charged With Stealing Wrenches From Sears Store Display In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 51-year-old Ossining resident for allegedly stealing tools from a local store. Police responded to a shoplifting complaint from Sears at 600 Lee Blvd. on Wednesday at approximately 5:15 p.m., police report. After an investigation, Allen P. Moscone Jr., stole three Craftsman wrenches valued at $110.97 from a store display, according to officials. Moscone was charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor, police report.
