Fairfield Republicans Re-Elect Millington As Chairman Of Town Committee FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Republican Town Committee has announced that it re-elected James Millington as chairman during its monthly meeting on Monday, March 7. The RTC unanimously re-elected Millington to serve a two-year term. In 2015, Millington, a lifelong resident of the area, helped to lead the party to win a majority on the Board of Selectman and the Representative Town Meeting. Greenwich Rep. Bocchino, Cbia Official Tour Funeral Home GREENWICH, Conn. -- State Rep. Mike Bocchino (R-150) visited the newly renovated Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home with Nicole Cline of the Connecticut Business Industry Association on Wednesday, March 2. Jennifer Graziano, and her brother, Vincent, provided Bocchino with an update on the renovations. Ramapo Police Charge Man With Stealing Bicycle RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police have charged a 20-year-old man from Hillcrest with stealing a bicycle, according to authorities. Ramapo police were advised by members of Chaverim of Rockland that they observed the suspect come onto the property of an Ellish Parkway home and steal a Huffy Prospect bicycle about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, officials report. Fred Camillo (R-151) has proposed a bill that would require all school buses built in 2021 and after to have lap and shoulder belts at every seat. Burnaska Elected Head Of Monroe Conservation And Water Resources Commission MONROE, Conn. -- Karen Burnaska, Monroe’s first selectman from 1995 to 2001, has been elected to a one-year term as chair of the Monroe Conservation and Water Resources Commission. Burnaska succeeds Michael O’Reilly, who has become an alternate member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Marven Moss succeeded Burnaska as vice chairman of the conservation commission, and Beverly Doyle was re-elected secretary.
