Waldwick Fire Department Auxiliary Holding Takeout Dinner WALDWICK, N.J. -- The Waldwick Fire Department Auxiliary Fish/Chicken & Chips Dinner will be held at Waldwick Fire Department Company 1 on Friday, March 18. Closter Nature Center To Hold 'Night Hike' CLOSTER, N.J. -- The Closter Nature Center will hold a "Night Hike" on Saturday, March 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The family-friendly event will begin with a hike through the forest at the nature center, and conclude at the fire pit across the pond, where hot chocolate will be served to the participants. The event is free-of-charge, but donations will be accepted.

Putnam Sheriff's Officers Charge Brewster Men With DWI In Southeast SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- Putnam County sheriff’s officers charged two Brewster men with driving while intoxicated during the course of a week, the Sheriff's Department said. The first arrest occurred when a deputy stopped a motorist who allegedly committed a traffic violation on Route 6 in Southeast on Saturday, Feb. 20, at approximately 2 a.m., officials report. The deputy determined that the driver, identified as Edvin Antonio Salazar, 27, of Brewster was intoxicated, police report. Weston Divers Take Top Honors At SWC Championships WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston High School boys diving team took first and second place at the South-West Conference Diving championships Wednesday night at Masuk High School. Senior Lucas Billig won the competition with a total score of 431.40, followed by sophomore Liam Simmons with a score of 421.55. The divers will compete in the Class S states next Wednesday at Plainfield High School.

Trumbull Reps. Rutigliano, Devlin Call For Vote On UConn Contract TRUMBULL, Conn. -- State Reps.
