Police responded to a call from personnel at the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department reporting possible consumption of alcoholic beverages in Sparkle Lake Park on Tuesday at 1:41 p.m., officials report. Police Dish Out 50 Tickets In Sprain Brook Parkway Detail WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Police doled out 50 tickets during a traffic safety and speed enforcement detail on the Sprain Brook Parkway Tuesday. During the detail, 35 motorists were issued traffic tickets for violating the posted 55 miles-per-hour speed limit. Another 15 were cited for offenses such as failing to move over for an emergency vehicle, hazardous lane changes and equipment violations.
