Putnam Humane Society's Labor Of Love Holds Reduced Fee Cat Adoption Event PUTNAM, NY. -- From September 3 to September 8, the Putnam Humane Society on 68 Old Route 6; Carmel, NY, will be holding a reduced fee cat adoption event. Cats and kittens will be reduced by 50 percent. In order to adopt, applications must be approved between days of the event to be eligible. Horace Greeley HS Seeks Performers For 'Once On This Island' CHAPPAQUA, NY -- Auditions for the Horace Greeley High School production of 'Once On This Island' will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday will be the dance audition, followed by the audition/reading on Wednesday and ending with the callbacks on Thursday. New Neighborhoods Hosting Free Health Fair In Stamford STAMFORD, Conn -- A free multi-agency health fair will be held Sept. 8 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Apartments at 40 Stillwater Ave. will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Attendees will have access to free health screenings. Byram Hills Student Celebrates First Day Of Kindergarten ARMONK, NY. -- Byram Hills School District in Armonk was back to school for the students on Sept. 1. Zoe Schneidman was one of the many students to complete their first day of school at Coman Elementary School. According to the district calendar, the last day of school is scheduled on June 23.
