Putnam Humane Society's Labor Of Love Holds Reduced Fee Cat Adoption Event PUTNAM, NY. -- From September 3 to September 8, the Putnam Humane Society on 68 Old Route 6; Carmel, NY, will be holding a reduced fee cat adoption event. Cats and kittens will be reduced by 50 percent. In order to adopt, applications must be approved between days of the event to be eligible. Tuesday will be the dance audition, followed by the audition/reading on Wednesday and ending with the callbacks on Thursday.
