Fairfield Boy Scout Seeks Winter Clothing Donations For Eagle Scout Project FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Boy Scout Noah Mihaylo from Troop 199 in Fairfield is a candidate for becoming an Eagle Scout. His goal for his project is to collect 500 winter coats, 500 pairs of winter boots, 500 winter hats, and 500 pairs of mittens and/or gloves for children and adults. Donations will be distributed during 'The Great Thanksgiving Feast,' at the United Congregational Church at 77 Park Avenue in Bridgeport. Water Main Break Believed To Be Cause Of Dobbs Ferry Home's Collapse DOBBS FERRY, N.Y, -- A water main break is believed to have caused part of a Dobbs Ferry house on Bramley Lane to collapse. Police said a water line feeding a sprinkler broke, causing the front lawn of the house to flood at about 10 p.m. Friday. Police responded after receiving a call from the homeowners saying the front of the house was partially caving-in, officials said. According to the homeowners, a part of the above-ground basement wall had given way, officials said. Crews worked throughout the night on the water main break, and the homeowners are staying in a hotel, officials said.
