$250 Million Mixed Use Development Project Breaks Ground In White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Ground was broken recently on a 760,000 square foot, $250 million mixed used building on Bank Street, according to theexaminernews.com.
According to the report, the project, owned by LCOR, has been touted as the city's first major residential development since 2009.
The site of the future building is at 55 Bank St., just a block from from the White Plains train station, according to the report.

Former Dutchess County Sheriff Fred Scoralick Of Poughquag Dies
Former Dutchess County Sheriff Fred W. Scoralick died Sunday, Nov. 29, at his home in Poughquag, N.Y. He was 80.
A Poughkeepsie native, Scoralick was born in 1935. He attended the local schools before graduation from Arlington High School in 1954.
His life of service began fairly early. Early in his adult years, he became a volunteer fireman with the Beekman Fire Department. Later, he would become involved with the town of Union Vale, serving on the Planning Board and, for two terms, on the town council.

Divers Suspend Search For Plane That Crashed In North Salem
NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Investigators on Saturday found additional pieces of an airplane that crashed into the Titicus Reservoir more than a week ago, according to lohud.com.
According to the report, divers from New York City's Department of Environmental Protection, or DEP, recovered a propeller and engine parts before suspending the search that began when the small, passenger plane crashed on Nov. 19.

Nyack's Elmwood Playhouse Auditions For 'A Time To Kill'
NYACK, N.Y. -- The Elmwood Playhouse will hold auditions this week for its upcoming production of "A Time to Kill."The production, based on the John Grisham novel of the same name, will be directed by Joe Albert Lima.
Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m., according to the playhouse's website.
