Portions of Bronx River Parkway Will Be Closed Through Sunday WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Portions of the northbound Bronx River Parkway will be closed between Friday and Sunday while maintenance crews work to enhance the drainage system on the Crane Road Bridge.The closure, which begins at 10 p.m. Friday, will require at least two northbound lanes to close between the Sprain Brook Parkway and the Westchester County Center. Those lanes are scheduled to reopen at 4 p.m. Sunday. At least three similar weekend closures are expected along the parkway in the coming weeks, weather permitting.
