Performances will be held on Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. West Milford Players Get Fencing Coaching For Upcoming Show WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- Cast members of the West Milford Players got fencing lessons at the Hillcrest Community Center recently for their upcoming presentation of "The Three Musketeers."The production boasts  a cast of twenty-four men, women and children in historic dress, and seven sword fights. Performances will be held from May 13 through May 22.  The production will help benefit the Friends of Wallisch Homestead, a 200-year-old farm which is home to 100 acres of nature trails, and holds promise to become a cultural, recreational and educational center for the community.

A $50 donation includes a buffet-style dinner and open bar from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Tommy Barnes, Steven Wesley and Scott DeCarlo. The department is also selling 50/50 raffle tickets to support the Unity Tour for $25 a piece. Bergen Catholic Students Shave Heads, Raise Money For Pediatric Cancer PARAMUS, N.J. -- The Crusaders Against Cancer from Bergen Catholic in Oradell partnered with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money for pediatric cancer research.Students, staff and alumni volunteered to have their heads shaved or hair cut on campus on St. Patrick's Day. This year, over $7,000 was raised by BC students for cancer research.

Ridgefield Park Students Exhibit Biliteracy RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Ridgefield Park's pilot biliteracy program continues to pick up steam with eight students slated to receive the honor at graduation in June, according to NorthJersey.com. The biliteracy program began last year with only three students showing the requisite proficiency in reading and writing in two languages.
