Bogota Middle School Participates In 'Hoops For Heart' BOGOTA, N.J. -- The Bogota Middle School seventh and eighth grade basketball team will participate in a "Hoops for Heart" fundraiser on Wednesday, March 23. The evening will feature a basketball game and shooting contest. Admission is $5 with proceeds going to the American Heart Association.  The game will be held in the Bogota High School Gym at 6 p.m.  Bogota High School is located at 2 Henry C Luthin Pl.

Ridgefield Park Organizes Easter Egg Hunt RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- The Ridgefield Park Board of Recreation and Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at Veteran's Park.The hunt is open for toddlers through grade six. Participants should be lined up at 9:45 a.m. on the Preston Street side of the high school parking lot. Prices Adds Up For Wanaque Walls WANAQUE, N.J. -- Borough officials will have to spend more than $230,000 to replace low retaining walls along Ringwood Ave., according to NorthJersey.com. The walls have been deteriorating due to road salt getting mixed in with snow over the previous winters. The walls will be replaced with a salt-resistant material.
