Hackensack Landmark Gets New Life As Residential Building HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The former Bank of America Building in Hackensack will get new life as a residential destination, according to NJ.com. The 10-story building that was completed in 1926 will be converted into 127 luxury apartments. Oakland Imposes Parking Restrictions Near Indian Hills High School OAKLAND, N.J. -- The Oakland Borough Council approved parking restrictions on streets in the area of Indian Hills High School on Feb. 24, according to NorthJersey.com.  The ordinance will prohibit parking on 17 streets between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on school days. West Milford Students Honored For Model UN Performances WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The West Milford High School Model UN team took home four awards at a recent meet at St. Peter's University. Jordan Chirichella and Hossain Ahmad were awarded Best Position Paper in the Disarmament and International Security Committee. Ryan Gillen was gien Honorable Mention for the Delegation in the Commission on Sustainable Development.  Colton Prentzel and Kim Gapinski  won Outstanding Delegation in the Legal Committee. Thomas Glade and Anthony Messina won Outstanding Delegation in the Special Committee on Technology.

Mahwah Library Hosts Lecture by Photographer MAHWAH, N.J. -- Photojournalist Jim DelGiudice will host a lecture on historic snapshots at the Mahwah Library on Monday, March 7. DelGiudice has worked as a photographer in New Jersey for more than 20 years. His architectural photography for books published by Rutgers University Press along with his lectures at ‘Drew University have won him a share of the state’s Historic Preservation Award three times.
