Former Westchester Resident Jake Page, Prolific Author, Editor, 80
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Smithsonian magazine science content editor and prolific author Jake Page, who grew up in Chappaqua, has died of vascular disease at the age of 80 in his home in Lyons, Colo., according to The New York Times.
In addition to his science writings, Page is known for several works focusing on the culture of the American Indian, according to the Times.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne, six daughters, four siblings and several grandchildren, the Times reports.

Wappinger Man Charged After Domestic Dispute, Police Say
WAPPINGER, N.Y. -- A resident of Wappinger is facing charges after State Police said they responded to a domestic dispute.
The arrest was made in connection with the dispute involving damage to two vehicles at a residence in the Town of Wappinger on Jan. 31, police report.
The suspect, identified as Joseph G. Todaro, 52, has been charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony, according to police.
Todaro was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Justice Court and released on $4,000 cash bail, officials report.
