WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- Rose (Fell) Savino died Wednesday, Jan. 20.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis Ferrante and her husband, Michael, of Pomona, Richard Savino and his wife, Veronica, of Henderson, Nevada, and Robert Sevino and his wife, Evelyn, of Ossining; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 24, between 4 and 8 p.m. at T.J McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville,

David Brand, 92, Nanuet Resident
NANUET, N.Y. -- David Brand, a resident of Nanuet, died Thursday, Jan. 21. He was 92.
He was born July 17, 1923, in Czechoslovakia.
Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley.

Westchester Estate Owner Michael Bloomberg Reconsidering Presidential Bid
NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has renewed his interest in a bid for the White House, according to the New York Times.Bloomberg, who owns an estate in North Salem, is unhappy with the front-runners in both parties, Democrat Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua and Republican Donald Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, and is considering running as an independent, the Times reports.
Bloomberg will decide on whether or not to run by early March, the Times reports.
