Fairfield Library Holding Minecraft Meetups
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Public Library is planning Minecraft meetups at both the main library, 1080 Old Post Road, and the Fairfield Woods branch, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, from February through April.
The meetings will alternate between the two facilities.
Dates at the main library are Saturdays, Feb. 6, March 5, April 2 and May 7.
Dates at the Fairfield Woods branch are Saturdays, Jan. 16, Feb. 20, March 19 and April 16.
Hours for the meetings are 2-3 p.m.
All programs are free and open to the public.

Fly Fishing Course Offered By Greenwich Adult & Continuing Education
GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Adult & Continuing Education is offering a course on fly fishing that will be taught at Greenwich High School from Jan. 21 to May 6.
Classes will be held on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:20 p.m.
The 12-session program will cover dry fly, nymph, streamer, trout, steelhead, warm-water and saltwater fishing, as well as tackle, knots, local fishing, flies, fishing strategy and fly casting.
The course will be led by Mark Sedotti, fly fishing writer and casting columnist for Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine.

Rudolph P. Vaccari, 89, Ridgewood Resident
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Rudolph P. Vaccari of Ridgewood, and Nantucket, Massachusetts died on Friday, Jan. 8. He was 89.
A graduate of St. Agnes High School in New York City, he worked in his family business, Piccinini Brothers. He was an avid surf fisherman and enjoyed time with his family on Nantucket.
He is survived by his wife, Marion (Covi) of Ridgewood; his sons, Richard of Franklin Lakes, Paul (Sylvie) of Manhattan and Peter (Pamela) of Ho-Ho-Kus; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Erica, Mariana, Braden and Matthew. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Lynn Vaccari.
