Phillip Carroll and Joshua Hauge, undergraduates majoring in industrial design, have been working alongside students and faculty from the School of Engineering on a high-altitude ballooning project, led by technology management professor Neal Lewis. Rye Democrats Sharing Coffee, Exchanging Ideas With Constituents RYE, N.Y. -- A group of Democratic officials representing Rye will meet with constituents during a coffee event on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro from 9:30 to 11 a.m. State Senator George Latimer, Assemblyman Steve Otis and County Legislator Catherine Parker will all be at the restaurant to discuss citizens’ concerns. The facility has begun a coloring program for grown-ups every third Saturday throughout the winter. The first session will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 1 to 2 p.m. The library will supply the coloring pages. A graduate of St. Agnes High School in New York City, he worked in his family business, Piccinini Brothers. He was an avid surf fisherman and enjoyed time with his family on Nantucket. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Covi) of Ridgewood; his sons, Richard of Franklin Lakes, Paul (Sylvie) of Manhattan and Peter (Pamela) of Ho-Ho-Kus; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Erica, Mariana, Braden and Matthew.
