Ridgefield Park Library Organizes Free tax Prep For Seniors RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Tax preparers from New Horizon Financial will offer free services for seniors at the Ridgefield Park Library through March and April.Seniors must call the library at 201-641-0689 in advance to schedule an appointment on a Monday or Tuesday morning. Dumont, New Milford Gas Main Repairs Nearly Complete DUMONT, N.J. -- A massive project to replace gas mains in Bergenfield, Dumont and New Milford is nearly complete, according to NorthJersey.com. The $1.2 billion project began in 2014 and saw 250 miles of old, antiquated cast iron gas main lines replaced with plastic piping. Teaneck Could Change Waiver Payment Program TEANECK, N.J. -- Teaneck officials are considering a proposal that would reduce the health benefit waiver payout for employees who opt out of the healthcare program, according to NorthJersey.com. Township Manager William Broughton proposed an ordinance that would reduce payouts from $400,000 to approximately $118,000.
