'Run The Palisades' Fast Approaching For Cliffside Park, Fort Lee CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- The eighth annual Run the Palisades will be held in Cliffside Park and Fort Lee on Sunday, May 15. Registration and check-in will begin at 7 a.m. at the Fort Lee Community Center.  A kids fun run will begin at 9 a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:30 and the 10K stepping off at 10 a.m.  Registration is $10 for the kids fun run, $25 for the 5K in advance or $30 on the day of the Race. Teaneck Could Change Waiver Payment Program TEANECK, N.J. -- Teaneck officials are considering a proposal that would reduce the health benefit waiver payout for employees who opt out of the healthcare program, according to NorthJersey.com. Township Manager William Broughton proposed an ordinance that would reduce payouts from $400,000 to approximately $118,000. Saddle Brook Library Director Prepares For Retirement SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Saddle Brook Library Director Alma Henderson will retire in April after nearly 12 years in the role. Supporters recently held a goodbye party for Henderson.  "I also commended her for extraordinary leadership, demonstrated by the significant improvements she and her staff have made to our library during her time as director," Mayor Robert White said. "We wish her the best of luck, health and happiness in her retirement."  The Saddle Brook Library's family day event on Saturday, March 19 will serve as another goodbye gathering for Henderson.
